Renaud Gouiran (1937-2009) was born in Valence on September 5, 1937.
In 1965, at the age of 28, he exhibited for the first time in Saint Rémy de provence at the "café des arts". This successful exhibition was to be the starting point of his professional life.
He officially opened his studio on January 1, 1967 at 57 rue Denis Papin in Valence, and closed it on January 1, 2008.
He died in November 2009 at the age of 72.
Throughout his career, he exhibited in many French cities: Paris, Marseille, Lyon, Bordeaux, Nice, Toulon, Bourges, La Rochelle, etc., as well as in major cities in Switzerland, Germany, Australia and the USA.
