This very delicate bench has elegantly curved legs and a seat band decorated with pretty engraved flowers. It has been reupholstered in a superb fabric by French publisher Jules Pansu, whose company has been creating magnificent fabrics since 1871. It is called "Bouquets Dauphine" ("Dauphine de France" was the name given to the wife of the heir to the French throne). At the end of a bed or in a hallway, this piece of furniture is sure to create a wow effect.

Louis XV, known as the "Beloved" reigned over the kingdom of France from 1715 to 1774, he was the only king of France to be born and die at the Palace of Versailles.
The Louis XV style is characterized by its elegance and lightness. It is recognizable by the grace of the curved legs of the furniture with "pied de biche"(deer foot).
The wood is natural, gilded or painted. The "rococo" style ornamentation is inspired by nature and exoticism.
