Rare very large Louis XVI style standing mirror. Indeed large French mirrors were most often made to be placed on a mantelpiece, console or chest of drawers. The fact that it is not painted or gilded is also quite rare and makes it a piece that will easily fit into a contemporary interior. The mirror has a few small spots of wear and tear, which contribute to its charm. It still has its original wooden back.
